5 out of 5 stars Very helpful book.   August 22, 2010

I am new to raw foods and this book makes it easy to learn about raw foods, i.e., veggies, nuts, fruits without cooking the enzymes out of them. Recipes are easy to follow. Book is informative for those who are just learning about raw foods. And the recipes are good!

Just getting started and like what I am reading. Have downloaded Kindle version to my iPhone. Does anyone know how to access referenced pages? 'Location' is not the same as a page number. Thank you!

5 out of 5 stars Simple ingredients, simple prep, AMAZINGLY good recipes!!   August 4, 2010

I almost never write reviews, but after making yet another incredible meal using this book, I just had to. My husband and I are raw food-dabblers (not of the hard-core variety). But "Raw Food Made Easy" might change that.

I have a few other raw food books and find that they often call for expensive kitchen appliances (like a dehydrator) and strange ingredients that you can only find at a specialty grocery store...and you'll have to ask where it's located, since you've never bought it before. But not so with this book!

Thank you, Jennifer Cornbleet, for making my foray into raw food enjoyable, easy and - most of all - delicious! No kidding - EVERY recipe I've tried (and I've made many things from this book) has been SOOOOOO good. I've put away my other raw cookbooks, and am considering selling them. Whenever I make a raw meal, my husband asks me if it's from the "good" cookbook (this one), or from a "bad" cookbook (any other raw cookbook). Now, my answer is always "The good one, of course!" The days of watching him roll his eyes whenever I try a new raw recipe are over. He actually gets excited now for our raw meals!

You ROCK, Jen. If you make another raw recipe book, I'll be among the first to buy it.

4 out of 5 stars Easy to understand Raw Food Recipes   July 25, 2010

Nice recipes that don't require rare ingredients or 100 ingredients per recipe. (Brownies are good!) My only complaint with this book is that the pictures of the dish are nowhere near the actual recipe. You have to see what the picture is first and then find what page the actual recipe is on. Just a bit annoying. Other than that, I would highly recommend this book. P.S. Almond Milk is excellent also.

4 out of 5 stars Very good information!   July 21, 2010

I really like this uncookbook. The only downfall was that is seemed like it was written some time ago and not all the new and improved discoveries are covered here. But then again, it is called "Raw Food Made Simple". So the content seems to go with the title.
