Product Description
Better known as MADRAS CURRY after the ancient port city of Madras, this is truly a classic South Indian culinary masterpiece. The original version is hot enough to make grown men cry and yet delectable enough to lure them back. We have tamed it down to suit your palate, while retaining all the spicy goodness. Try it with your favorite meat or veggies.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Curry   July 25, 2009

I'm certainly not a curry expert, but I know what I like...And good curry is hard to find. It's either too sweet, too watery, too this, too that. "Classic Curry" from Spicy Nothings is perfect - the consistency, the taste, the spices, etc. Whenever my wife and I wanted good chicken curry, we'd end up driving 20 minutes and spending $30 at a nearby Indian restaurant...With this, however, cut up some chicken, cook it in a pan, add a bottle of "Classic Curry," let it simmer for 5 minutes, and you not only get a BETTER meal (and healthier), but you can easily feed 2-3 people for $10. Can't recommend it more highly.

I am not East Indian, but I have enjoyed this cruisine all my life, and thats a long long time. Back in the 1970s we owned a restaurant in Cucamonga, California that served Indian food one night a week. The other nights we served American, Mexican, Greek, Spanish, and Arabic food. along with entertainment of that country. Having been taught by several of the best chefs of Indian food, (North and South), I know what it should taste like. This product is among the best you can find in a jar. I used to make it from scratch, but now I use this excellent product. Try it. you'll like it.

5 out of 5 stars Best Gourmet Indian Sauces   October 28, 2008

I was visiting the San Diego area for summer and got a chance to try all the 3 different sauces. I'm an Indian and a cook, and God, did they taste good!! These are the best Indian gourmet sauces I have ever tasted in the US, and believe me I've tried a LOT of products. I wish they start selling them in the Midwest too.
